From her time as a student at the MasterMaths Farrer Park branch, she demonstrated a clear vision for her future—getting into Raffles Institution (RI) to pursue her A Levels. Her journey began in secondary school, where she consistently worked hard and was patient throughout her three years of preparation in her weekly coaching at MasterMaths.

Hanna’s journey is a powerful story of determination and resilience. She mentions that Additional Maths can be a tedious subject requiring students to pick up key points and sometimes being in a rush, it becomes stressful at times. Each paper she sat for she had a negative experience. Challenging questions at MasterMaths really help boost her morale for the subject. Logarithms and Surds were her weak points. She mentioned that we should clear our doubts whenever it comes ! We’re so proud of you Priyanka!
Ram attended the live-online “O” Level Maths lessons for both his Mathe subjects, A/E Maths. He shared that some of the concepts taught were really hard at first and in addition to that, he made careless mistakes too. He mentioned of his low confidence in Maths especially for Additional Maths. Ram mentions about the topics of Integration, Differentiation, Place Geometry as being some of the toughest for his A.Maths.
Ram bags the A1 in E.Maths and A2 in A.Maths !!! He shares with students that they have to believe in themselves and that anything is possible in this world!
Rubaina attended the MasterMaths classes at Tampines branch and credits her success to daily revision and practice for her Mathematics. She loves Maths as it forces her to solve challenging questions. She mentions that “Practice makes Perfect”

Mahdiyah was getting E8’s for her Additional Maths and was even questioning “Why is she having to learn this?” to the extent of wanting to drop the subject altogether ! She mentions that sometimes she doesn’t know what the question is asking for and that was the challenging part for her. She shares about the step-by-step approach to the Additional Maths notes at MasterMaths and how it has helped her. Mahdiyah also attended the extra classes provided by MasterMaths closer to the exams and that was a much needed boost for her. We’re so happy to share that Mahdiyah managed to get the A1 in “O” Level Additional Mathematics!!!
MasterMaths Online Student Hafsah bags the biggest improvement in “O” Level Mathematics!
Before joining the “O” Level program, Hafsah was intimidated by Mathematics and was actually failing the subject. She even “hated” the subject and had a low confidence level. After attending the live-online lessons, her confidence was boosted and her grades started going uphill too ! During her “O” Levels, Hafsah mentions that she was re-assured that she had done enough and could go in with great confidence too !

Shazwan attended Victoria School and the MasterMaths “O” Level Additional Maths classes at Woodlands branch. He likes how Maths boosts his critical thinking skills and challenges him too ! MasterMaths student Humairah was getting D7/E8 for her Additional Maths just before her O Levels. She mentions about her lack of confidence and was “scared” about Additional Maths. She finds the application of differentiation and integration hard to grasp and was happy about th various practices she was exposed. She managed to get A2 at “O” Levels for her Additional Maths. Her advice for students is to never give up and keep putting the work in !

And in 2002, I received a bruising tongue lashing from my parents for bringing home yet another “D” grade for my Maths exams – it was the 3rd year of D’s. Everyone was disappointed.
Distracted…playful…and inattentive. Many gave up on seeing me become a success, however…
In 2014, I walked onstage at the NTU convocation ceremony to receive a 1st Class Honours Degree from Professor Teoh Swee Hin . Only 10% of students qualify to receive this degree…
My mother became a proud mum. For the first time in her life, she witnessed her very own child graduate from university.
But I wasn’t fully satisfied as I could not share much about my journey with others. In fact, my learning adventure was far from rosy. When I was in the early years of school life, I struggled to find joy in Maths learning oftentimes failing, bringing home report cards that became my mother’s nightmares.
Through a series of changes and after learning and fine-tuning study habits, I managed to overturn my grades and became a top scorer in school, securing double A1’s for “O” Level A/E Maths, Distinction for “A” Level Maths and onto achieve a First Class Hon. Degree and Dean’s Listing from NTU, Singapore.
It is my mission now to share my journey and study habits with more people.
Today, we prepare students across Singapore to ace their Mathematics examinations and ultimately achieve their dreams.
