1. Introduction

Master Maths Education Centre Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the M2LearnApp mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By downloading or using M2LearnApp, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

• Camera access & images – When you use the worksheet-scanning feature, the App requests access to your device camera. Images captured are used solely to process and display the scanned worksheet. We do not store or transmit raw camera images to our servers unless required for processing.
• Device information & identifiers – We collect basic device data such as device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version. This helps us ensure compatibility and diagnose technical issues.
• Usage analytics – We collect anonymised data about how you interact with the App (e.g. features accessed, session duration, error events). This information cannot be used to identify you personally and is used solely to improve the App.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location data, contacts, or payment information through this App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Enable and operate the worksheet-scanning feature
• Maintain App stability, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs
• Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and our terms of service

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Camera Permission

M2LearnApp requests access to your device’s camera exclusively for the worksheet scanning feature, which allows students to photograph printed worksheets for in-app review and feedback.

Camera access is requested only when you actively use the scanning feature. You may deny camera permission at any time through your device settings; doing so will only disable the scanning feature and will not affect other App functions.

5. Third-Party Services

At this time, M2LearnApp does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or social login services beyond those inherent to the Android and iOS operating systems (such as Google Play Services on Android).

If third-party SDKs are added in a future update, this policy will be updated accordingly and users will be notified.

6. Data Retention & Security

We retain anonymised usage and device data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy, typically no longer than 12 months, after which it is securely deleted or aggregated.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

M2LearnApp is designed for use by students under the supervision of parents or educators. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Because the App does not collect personal information such as name, email, or location, it is designed to be safe for use by minors.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you
• Withdraw camera permission at any time via your device settings
• Opt out of analytics data collection by uninstalling the App

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, notify users through an in-app notice.

Continued use of M2LearnApp after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
