Five Ways to Prepare for a Strong Start to 2025
Year 2025 starts in about two weeks from now and I just thought of sharing with you how we can make the best out of a fresh start.
To tackle activities on a daily basis, one needs to be in the best of health. Spend the remaining part of 2024 to review your daily habits whether it’s sleep, diet or exercise, have an assessment of where you are losing unnecessary energy and then replace those tasks with more positive ones.
2) Brainstorm on ways to expand your learning
Old methods of learning, if not effective or interesting, can be replaced by newer ways of seeking knowledge. For example, if reading a Mathematics textbook is dull, you can try supplementing such learnings with YouTube videos or even articles on Google. Get tips from your best performing classmate and school teachers on how you can improve your independent studies.
3) Plan to learn something new
School time is great chance to pick up a new skill besides the usual school materials. You can try out courses from websites like Udemy or free ones like the MIT Open Courseware https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/
4) Organise your Study Resources
Stock up on your stationery supplies and check for any faulty items in your stationery box. The simple act of cleaning your study table may calm you down and serves as motivation ahead of the new school year.
5) Prepare Mentally
Write down on a piece of paper what concepts you have learnt in this year and what you will be learning next year. You likely cannot remember 100% of everything, but the act of recollecting previous efforts, will get your mind ready for more progress in 2025. Stay focused on your goals and ensure you put in the appropriate efforts to achieve them.
All the best and may you have a successful 2025!
